Hello all!

September 18, 2007

This will be my first entry into the voxblog…just to see what it looks like, how to edit and get it set up in general. I've been using LiveJournal…er, paying for LiveJournal for 2 years but rarely posted because I didn't find it very user-friendly.

A few little tidbits about me: Camera bug, former magazine owner/editor/publisher, now into video editing, always into music – all music (with the exception of "torch-n-twang" country), messy housekeeper, big-time dog lover (both canine and apparently the "man"kind). I literally don't watch TV…I know that's strange for someone who enjoys video editing, but… I do follow one or two shows through web streaming and recaps. Passions is one of them.

Okay then. Here's my question of the day to those who will read this. I'm going to jump right in here with a sensitive subject, then try and decide with whom I have the nerve to share it:

Have you ever experienced unrequited love? I have Googled this one to death, mostly to find some very dismal and yet humurous comments. It seems to be a topic people hesitate to discuss, so perhaps we can get something going here. I would enjoy reading posts of your experience or understanding of "unrequited love." (Yes, I have had it, and I think I'm still having it. Looking for a cure here.)
